(6,338 posts)6. Senator Scott talked around the question because he wants to be Trump's VP choice.
It was painful to watch him squirm; well, not really, it was actually funny.
If he said he would accept the election results, he's out as a VP choice, if he says he won't, he gets branded as a dangerous radical who could easily call for the overthrow of the election if Trump loses.
It was a lose/lose question for him, and he chose not to answer it, which is also a losing position.
He needs to be asked this question again and again just to see him squirm.
