Trump said that he was REALLY REALLY rich,
so whys he playing whiney little bitch?
He had six hundred million cash he said,
but seems he pulled that figure from his head.
Its clear about his money hes been lying.
The same pitch used on banks he now is trying.
Hes begging idiot followers for dough.
Theyll send him some cuz theyre too dumb to know.
He said he couldnt be bought 'cuz hes was 'loaded',
but that myth has been recently exploded.
I still view him the same, though he is poor
since I thought that he was horrible before.

(208,465 posts)The thing is, from what we hear, all his "properties" are mortgaged - and we also know that he's gone bankrupt before numerous times - all his businesses failed except for campaign contributions. And I still believe that the only reason he "ran" in the first place, it was one more try at making money.
And if he's that hard up, what's to stop him from making deals with our foreign adversaries who would use that chance to influence him? And we still don't know if the FBI found all the classified documents that he stole. His former Mar-a-Lago employee, Brian Butler, just testified that he watched numerous boxes of those documents loaded onto TFG's plane, headed for his
Bedminster, New Jersey golf club.

(208,465 posts)There were first casinos, then Trump ties, Trump steaks, Trump vodka and the infamous Trump University. At first he was just desperate to make money, but he found he liked the attention and after he "won" (the Electoral College, not the people's vote) and he kept up his "rallies" rather than doing the job.
And he neglected to realize that everything a president does is scrutinized and becomes front page news. So he refused to give up his illegal behavior and now is paying for it big time. What I will never understand is why anyone at all would support a criminally indicted individual to lead the government he attempted to overthrow.

I think Forbes had him at around 3.5 billion back then. Either way, anyone really worth that kind of money should be able to come up with the bond. He has to have screwed himself pretty good.
