Face of Bernie Sanders Adorns New Underwear Line

-snip-
The White House aspirations of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, have inspired a new underwear company that mixes pop culture and politics.

"Bernie's Briefs" launched just last week, and is the brainchild of Alexandra MacLean, Nick Sherman, and Todd Bailey. The three work at KSE Partners, a strategic communications and government affairs firm based in Montpelier, and said they developed Bernie's Briefs as a fun sideline business.

The style is hideous. Is this something that people can do? Put your face on some ugly knickers just because you are a public figure?

But I saw the humor in this. I don't think she's gonna get rich over this. Actually I think she's contributing it to charity.

cuz that's the only kind Bernie wears, or at least that's what he told Ellen whats-her-name on
her TV show, when pressed for an answer to "boxers or briefs?" in a silly game she ran on him.

Not to be a purist or anything, but just saying...

I knew some would find it objectionable but when I heard about it on the news on
a local radio station here this morning in So Cal I was excited. Remember last summer
when there was no Bernie in the news? Even objectionable news like Trump
was getting was better than the deafening silence that Bernie received.

Not only is it a political novelty item, 15% goes to the Yellow Ribbon fund in Bernie's name. It's a win-win.

BTW, it's Vermont company who totally supports Bernie.
