I never saw Bernie as anything but genuine. I had no idea that other people viewed Bernie as crazy or insincere.

4. Wasn't that after viewers had protested Stewart's mocking of Sanders

and before he referred to a photo of the Democratic field as Hillary Clinton and a bunch of other people? Also before Monday or Tuesday of his last week, when the Show up an old, perhaps photoshopped photo of Sanders' hair standing straight up and said no one can take your Presidential run seriously when your hair looks like your dick is stuck in a light socket?

Jon basically dismissed or ignored O'Malley, Webb and Chafee and excoriated Sanders. Also, he had Sanders on exactly once, in 2011, when Sanders was promoting the book that had been made of Sanders' filibuster slamming Republicans.

I am a huge fan of the Daily Show--watched and/or caught up with every show for years-- and also a huge fan of Jon Stewart's awe-inspiring intelligence and comedic timing and talent. However, if you compare how Jon treated Sanders with how he treated Hillary (and Bill and Chelsea), it could not be more clear where Jon's loyalties and affections lay. I will miss him greatly, but somewhat less because of how he has treated Sanders--except the time after an especially unfair segment drew many viewer protests.
