(47,953 posts)What it does do is inoculate tRump from damage caused by his lies. If both sides do it, then the voter has to make choices based on other aspects, or just stay home. There is an obvious way out of this, if the Party elders cared to take it.

(3,343 posts)Because the MSM - aside from wingers - hasn't been calling her a liar until the OIG report was released. Like the article says - they've known it for a year, but didn't feel they could SAY it until now. And that story is playing out the same way across the media unlike ever before.
It used to be: people think she's a liar.
Now its: she's a liar.
Big difference.

My guess is she won't do that. Which would go a long way toward supporting the claims in the Sun on her untrustworthiness.
I'm aware that Mrs. Clinton has her minions here on this site, but the facts are becoming painfully clear: She's a stinker of a candidate.

(3,343 posts)It's a disaster from the word go.

(50,986 posts)since she is certainly in a position to hire top-drawer writers and advisors. John Kennedy had a classical education and was no slouch at language and vision, but he still wanted a cadre of advisors and writers around him so that his presidency would speak to later generations and not just the law students over at Georgetown. He spoke respectfully and inspirationally to them, too, but his audience was far larger.
There's none of that in Hillary Clinton's two campaigns for the presidency.

(50,986 posts)generally, in fact. But she must figure they're as good as anybody for tabulating the Wall Street donor checks and the money from WalMart. Plus, they all know how to book lunch for her with Henry Kissinger.

(36,988 posts)papers have slammed her and how many support her actions
I'm seeing papers that endorsed her slamming her for lying
My guess? 4/5 of all papers condemn her actions.

(36,988 posts)everyone does it, its no big deal, no 'crimes' committed,
witch hunt, she said she made a mistake...... etc.
Those I consider 'positive' spin......
The thing is they are talking and writing about it, before the next primary.
Hey TV news watchers!.......... What are their main stories now?
Any Hillary news discussed?

The ammo is there and there's MSM precedence.

Too little too late from the Baltimore Sun, but at least we are finally seeing a glimmer of hope that the media might decide to report the news.
