I have another high five story about feeling the Bern. This time at a Symphony performance

I'm excited about the win in Wisconsin, I won't even worry about this story being not so different from my post office story of a couple of days ago, it has a LGBT aspect as well that was quite wonderful in front of a deeply Southern audience

I went to a Symphony performance tonight and left at intermission, the pieces I went to hear had been played, and I wanted to get home to watch the results of the Wisconsin voting.
Before the orchestra started the Maestro turned to the audience to tell us that the main cellist in the orchestra died of cancer. Great sadness. Tomorrow 22 cellists will perform at her funeral at a Universalist Fellowship. He then said, as his last comment: “15 members of her family are in the audience tonight, including her wife.”

During intermission, before I hightailed out, I went to the bathroom to check the phone for how Bernie was doing. When I read the numbers I saw in the mirror that I got this big shit eating grin on my face, my eyes got big too, and a woman next to me, washing her hands, asked me what was up.
I showed her the Bernie Wisconsin numbers and told her that this made me very happy.

I swear to you she high fived me, said she  was a member of the mourning party of the cellist, and that she was going back in to bring them the good news because they are all Bernie supporters.

I can’t make this stuff up. And I will continue to spread my joy about feeling the Bern and who knows, there may be more recounting of my experiences .
