Deleting A DU Account

What is the process of completely deleting a DU account? We would like to do this ASAP as the environment of this forum has become beyond, beyond, unbearable and more than a bit racist. Any assistance to immediately do this as requested would be appreciated.

just determine not to log in again.

There is no process for permanently deleting an account. If you wish to become uncivil (as I hope you wouldn't), the admins might permanently ban you, but your screen name and previous posts would still be there.

I have never been contacted, by email or otherwise, by any one connected with DU in over 10 years of membership. Delete the bookmark from your browser, and be troubled no more.

We will take if necessary but first, we prefer to have the account completely closed.

But is this the place to do so or is there another appropriate place? Can the exit interview be truthful with being locked? Be aware in advance, the issue of race and racial bias will come up heavy in the exit interview as such relates to this forum.

because I have no more connection to this site than you. I asked a question in the hopes of understanding your concerns...they are probably the concerns many on this site have. But you are obviously very angry and I can't help you with that. Thank you for your reply, take care.

I think a lot of us would. When I was a DU.2 mod, we saw the worst of DU, and Skinner advised taking a break if it got to be too much. That's what I'd suggest, take some time off and see how you feel after that.
