introduce myself

hi, i'm new, over 40, from virginia. i enjoy debating about politics, i suppose you can call me a keyboard warrior?

i know chinese/japanese, so my favorite hobby is translations, specifically manga, anime.

i became seriously interested in politics when my friend , who is more liberal than I am, got me involved to help unseat cantor, which was good, but unfortunately, we ending up with another conservative... talk about jumping out of the hot wok and into another hot wok.

i also enjoy cooking, when i see something good, i want to figure out how to make it.

2. Hello All

I found this site quite by accident and find the views expressed here interesting , thoughtful and insightful. I lurked here for a few weeks before joining.
This country is in serious need of change starting right now I hope my little voice in the world helps drive that change.
