which is outstanding, truly a fascinating analysis. I was not familiar with the theory of social reproduction. The connections the speaker makes between capitalism and gender violence, as exemplified through Strauss Kahn's attack on Dialo is thought provoking.
Thank you so much for posting this. I look forward to hearing the rest of the panel later.

The socialism group may also find it interesting.

Fascinating stuff. I also was not familiar with the theory of social reproduction but am interested in learning more. In fact, after having seen this presentation once I would like to view it again.

That's what we're facing. The idea that women are "victims" for asserting their rights, and all that other stuff we hear about sexual "choice" is part of a neoliberal backlash. Really interesting.
