RMoney/Ayn campaign memo - "Don't Panic"!

http://www.buzzfeed.com/mckaycoppins/romney-campaign-memo-dont-panic

"BOSTON, Mass. — As new polls show President Obama opening up a wider lead coming out of the Democratic Convention, Mitt Romney's pollster sent a memo to press Monday morning with a simple message: Don't panic.

"Don't get too worked up about the latest polling," wrote Romney campaign pollster Neil Newhouse. "While some voters will feel a bit of a sugar-high from the conventions, the basic structure of the race has not changed significantly."

Newhouse argues that Obama continues to own the weak economy, and that the issue will soon "reassert itself" as the guiding factor in the election — the chief talking point that has always served as the founding rational of Romney's campaign.

He also points to an expanding battlefield, which he says includes opportunities for victory in Wisconsin and New Mexico, Romney's cash-on-hand advantage, and progress in building the campaign's ground game

how much better the campaign will run now that they've essentially abandoned the communist enclaves of Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Oh to hear the infighting and angry phone calls in the GOP right now, behind the scenes. This is what you get for letting someone who barely squeaked through the primaries, to be your candidate. I remember when he got the nomination it was like 'meh' all around. He just sort of seemed like the least offensive and least crazy of the bunch.

And now Ryan seems to have dropped off the map. He's fundraising at a private event near Seattle today.. in Medina, grabbing some of that Microsoft money on the Eastside. I'd count the silver when he leaves.. he's just such a smarmy little gladhanding fuck.

ON EDIT: Hahaha. Just read their Memo. What a load of horseshit that is. "coming off the sugar high of the conventionS.." Well, your convention did not have a sugar high.. didn't have a high at all. And the President's "bounce" is still climbing. So FAIL on that point.

Then they have the "the Obama Campaign is working on a stealth withdrawal in North Carolina" Yeah.. riiiiiight.... the entre memo is filled with the usual lies, and then some. Makes for some stupid reading, and lots of desperation.

If you aren't panicking you don't put that memo out. You don't even mention it. Just goes along with other reports that advisers to Romney are deeply worried about the state of his campaign.

I bet the Republicans have their top wizards and sorcerers trying to conjure up Romney support, as we speak.

Why here is a picture from RNC headquarters this morning

The basic structure of the race has not changed... Obama was ahead in the Spring, and he's ahead now.

And Romney isn't getting Michigan either and likely not Ohio.
