Hillary Clinton took time out on the campaign trail to cross a few things off her Christmas shopping list including an adorable gift for her 1-year-old granddaughter, Charlotte.
Before speaking at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on Friday, the Democratic front-runner took a quick campaign detour to the gift shop at Community Orchard.
According to pool reports, she purchased a knitted hat for an infant (a.k.a. Charlotte), a red mug with an inscription about grandfathers she told reporters it was a stocking stuffer for her husband, former President Bill Clinton and a white scarf.

(1,309 posts)If you actually believe we should think this constitutes her shopping for Christmas rather than planned public relations, wake up! She is worth millions but only spends a few dollars like so many of the 99 percent. While it might make you feel good, what you want to believe has no relation to reality, just like you and me -LOL! Hey can you tell Wall Street to just stop it?

(146,324 posts)Why would she not buy small gifts from some gift shop? Will more expensive gifts be given? I have no idea. Not everyone is extravagant at Christmas, even among wealthy people. I don't know the Clinton's habits with regard to gift-giving. Do you?
Not everything Hillary Clinton does is necessarily fodder for attacking her, it seems to me.

You'll drive yourself crazy!
You're certainly not gaining allies from Clinton supporters, if that is your attention.
