He knew how to pick 'em. He was a flatterer, he liked stimulating, er, conversation, and he liked to pay ATTENTION to women (and he had a good sense as to who might return the favor). He liked good conversation, witty repartee, and a little gossip. He lived life, make no mistake!

One feels a bit sorry for the woman he left behind--she spent more time without him than with...but maybe she preferred it that way. For every lid there is a pot, I guess...!

Next time I see him up in Philly, I'll ask him. There's an official Ben Franklin impersonator, and his answers to tough questions are pretty good.
