(36,461 posts)The fucking media is such a huge part of the problem in this country. Fair & balanced is such a crock. Journalism is a thing of the past. Now it's all gotcha infotainment.

(22,666 posts)Media ignores him and Sanders - but I'm not surprised. Corprat media promotes propaganda that suits their bottom line and nothing else.

(87 posts)I would assume categorically so, if your avatar is anything to go by.
If faux-support from centrist Democrats was any kind of currency o malley would be a rich man indeed.

(8,039 posts)governor and he would make a great President. Unfortunately the news media conglomerates have decided he is not worth their time to cover. (Though Rachel & Chris are finally starting to notice him. ) The GOP machine hates him with an unreasonable, unrelenting passion in this state.

(2,792 posts)Ehrlich, Steele, and then Hogan led the obsessive hate campaign. They invented other reasons, but it was really all about the top 15% having their state income taxes raised. Those taxes, as well as other taxes and fees helped make Maryland and its schools first-rate. The environment was also pleased with O'Malley. If you want a progressive state or nation, you have to pay for it somehow.
To my mind, he is the best and most experienced executive in the primary field. And he plays a mean guitar with "O'Malley's March."
Sometimes I misplace something and fail to look for it right in front of my eyes. The media and the public are examining Democratic candidates, but they act as if only two are running. I hope their blinders get taken off in Iowa. It is not a choice between only Sanders and Clinton.

I hope he is around working and helping the Democratic Party for a long time to come.

(3,275 posts)I will happily vote for Clinton, Sanders or O'Malley for president. Anything beats out those 15 idiotic excuses for candidates on the republican side.
