Just throwing this out there for Hillary group. How about Clinton/Newsom ticket?

I heard him speak today and was so impressed with his passion on gun control (which has now become my single issue). I am researching more about him...if i am missing something tell me.

Gavin Newsom Lt. Governor CA

Kimberly Guilfoyle from the Fox propaganda channel.

If he ended up on the ticket it would be really uncomfortable for her over there in the den of vipers.

Btw my new name for fox is the evil channel. It brings out the evil in people.

But he doesn't bring anything to the ticket. it's not that he isn't a great candidate. I just don't see where he helps.

He's extremely bright and articulate, that helps the ticket.

He supports pot legalization- guess what; particularly with millennials and west of the Mississippi... That helps the ticket.

Im not sure what it is you're saying that we're supposed to be looking for, specifically--- in terms of "helps the ticket".

Maybe you can clue me in on that.

Beyond that it's fairly well established that the veep choice doesnt usually impact the ticket's chances all that much, anyway.

I'm thinking she has a challenge with working class white men...I'm thinking Sherrod Brown is a possible solution and if he brings in Ohio it's probably checkmate regardless of who the Republicants choose.

Again, it's not a reflection on Gavin Newsom. I think he's great.

And they might be a more "gettable" group?

I agree about Ohio, though. CA will go blue regardless.

Sherrod Brown is a "regular guy" like Joe Biden if Biden was an authentic "leftie"

Heck, it's way too early...

I admit to having a west coast bias, plus i want our bench expanded beyond baby boomers. (That said I admit I don't know how old Brown is) We need some names for 8 years from now, too.

But if Newsom becomes Governor that's a fine platform for him to reach national stature, too.

I don't think she is in any danger of losing OH; but Brown certainly locks up the state and helps please the progressive wing of the party. He is an outstanding Senator regardless if he becomes VP. He would make a fine Majority Leader.

I think he's a rising star in the party.

I have a feeling the east coast beltway conventional wisdom types arent ready for him, yet, though.
