The Hill
Chris Matthews nails it: Sanders won, he tweeted, echoing the MSNBC anchors assessment of the event in Las Vegas.
Never be4 @ a mainstream debate has a Prez candidate dared 2 question the core system of wealth & power, Moore said of Sanderss performance.
History was made tonite: A conscientious objector running 4 Prez, who believes in democratic socialism, stood & spoke & was wildly applauded, he added.
Moore praised Sanderss handling of both fiscal and racial issues.
Thank you Bernie for just saying it: Black Lives Matter, he wrote. "And for mentioning Sandra Bland killed in a cops jail in Texas.
Quote of the night Sanders: 'Congress doesnt regulate Wall Street, Wall Street regulates Congress, Moore said. "Huge applause.
Moore also charged that Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clintons is not capable of resisting wealthy special interests.
Well, any of you with a good sniffer knows what I know from what we all just heard: The banks are going to love President H. Clinton, he said.

WHEN CRABS ROAR
(3,813 posts)Now is the time for a real progressive populist movement, but the message needs to be clear and not overly complex and it needs to be repeated over and over to drive it home into the minds of the people.
Then Bernie will win.

Bernie said it.
Not Hillary.
Hillary's friends rigged the game.
Bernie, and us will fix it.
Michael Moore will help.

(3,412 posts)Hillary and Bill didn't really have any wealth until they left the
white house, and if they didn't have some success in making
money you would be calling them losers.

(441 posts)and you'll just love the bankers going back and forth between the white house and wall street the next four years. The big banks are beyond too big to fail. They're becoming too big to save but Clinton won't break them up. You better get wise America or we're all going to be in the poor house when the banks fail again!

(41,600 posts)Bernie won? When I turned to MSNBC all he was doing was whining about Bernie picking on the poor put upon billionaires. He said Bernie blamed all this country's problems on the wealthy (like himself), but I didn't ever hear him say Bernie won. I think I'll faint!

(41,600 posts)Go Bernie! The thing that drives me insane about Chris Matthews, he says whatever pops into his head without letting his interviewee finish a thought/answer. He constantly interrupts. It's rude and annoying as hell. One of my pet peeves actually, being interrupted, so maybe that's why it annoys me so much.
Thanks for the video!
