Fox News Says Don’t Worry if Times’ Clinton Email Story Wrong, Keep Talking About it

http://www.politicususa.com/2015/07/31/fox-news-worry-times-clinton-email-story-wrong-talking.html

Earlier today, on Fox News’ Happening Now, Judith Miller said we need more coverage of the Clinton emails “Whether or not The Times got certain facts about the story wrong.” This is Fox-speak for “We’ve got nothing, so let’s keep talking about it.”

They don’t have to prove a thing. They just have to keep doubt alive, just as they’ve tried to do with global warming, and before that, smoking. Throw enough dirt, and some will stick. And after all, where they’ve invented one lie, they can invent another, and keep inventing them.

SNIP
Hillary Clinton is lining up Republican presidential candidates and knocking them down like dominoes. At this rate, she will have all 16 down even before the first debates. Fox News, like the GOP, is frantically looking for ways to stop her. Expect more Benghazi, expect more emails and more emails + Benghazi and anything else they can invent to throw at her.

What is funny is that The New York Times can call out the campaign being engineered against Planned Parenthood without noticing their own deceptive campaign against Hillary Clinton. As The Atlantic‘s Norm Ornstein so succinctly put it, The New York Times‘ handling of Clinton email story is “a direct challenge to its fundamental credibility.”

We could say a lot more about Fox News, but they never had any credibility to begin with.

=========================================================

And the fools that repeat it, just like Fox.

"...we need more coverage of the Clinton emails “Whether or not The Times got certain facts about the story wrong."

The inspectors general said late Friday that it was a “security referral” intended to alert authorities that “classified information may exist on at least one private server and thumb drive that are not in the government’s possession.”

hmm ..perhaps I should edit that last post.

But you never know, maybe Roger & Judith are starting at the bottom again. Hitting the social media blog circuit, Du, Yahoo, Freepland.
Getting their 'message' ( ) out there, dusting off & dredging up the old team.
It's election time & they got another Clinton to destroy. Fox notNews & social media sites need the business.
Clinton's are good for everyone's bottom line, so pile on.

points of Peter Schweizer.

There is no doubt in my mind that the press is up to their neck in the Swift Boating of the Clinton's

The NY Times gave so much time for the WMDs that according to Miller when interviewed by Jon Stewart, the paper didn't have room to print the view of other high government officials in the know that it was a fabrication.

Then the NY Times unquestioningly give Schweizer tons of coverage in their paper to spew his distortions and lies about the Clintons, in his new book. Ironically, the paper had more than enough space to print that garbage.

Most recently, the NY Times reported that criminal charges were going to be filed against the Clintons in regard to the emails, and they refused to modify it or take it down when multiple sources, including the justice department and state department pointed out that the story was bogus. Within 24 hours they finally revised it 3 times, removed the "criminal charges" accusation, and effectively reported that it was a routine FOI inquiry.

The Democratic party had better start getting aggressive, and NOT ignore this, like essentially the Kerry campaign did during the swift boating which the press had no problem plastering all over, even though they knew it was garbage. It got to the point where the media was giving the swift boaters free time on the airwaves, using the excuse that they were just reporting the news.

The other Democratic candidates should also not just lay back and assume they will not have swift boating down against them. I have no doubt that if the polls tighten up with Bernie and O'Malley, the right wing media machine will be going after them in full force. I can see them Swift Boating Bernie, misreporting as "news" that socialism and "communism" are the same thing, and give very little coverage where he is on the issues, and what he proposes to deal with the countries problems. They have already tried to swift boat Bernie in several interview he has had, and Bernie handled those with grace and style, and left them with egg on their face, but the problem is not when they interview Bernie, but when they allow air time for others to characterize him falsely. That applies to any of the Democratic candidates. O'Malley is essentially being ignored right now because for better or worse the "illustrious" media doesn't believe he has a chance. The fact is though if O'Malley starts to get traction, and after the debates, I have no doubt the will be trying to swift boat him also. They have already tried to use the Baltimore riots against him, and they are going to further their distortion of him through the BLM/Netroots town hall happenings, by not only taking things out of context, but by NOT reporting the full story, or giving him a chance to respond.

President Obama learned from the mistakes of both the Gore and Kerry campaigns, and was on top of the distortions and lies before they had a chance to take hold. The Democratic party as a whole, and the candidate's campaign better take the lead on this while there is still plenty of time.
