Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

What does he mean President Obama's speech was ineffective?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He laid it all out for anyone to understand. You choose this, you get that. What the hell do they want him to say? Jonathan Alter, I think that's his name, is dead wrong on this one. I think he did an outstanding job of presenting his case for re-election. Rmoney sweated his way through the same old nonsense he's been spewing since they finally begrudgingly allowed him to represent their party. Please!!!! This is becoming more and more idiotic.

3. Alter's job requires a close race. You don't need pundits like him if Obama

is going to win in a landslide.

4. What does it mean? It means he is a jerk.

He requires perfection I guess. I thought it was a really good speech. It was great in parts.
Thank goodness Martin Bashir is now on telling the real story and the real FACTS.

11. It was too long for people challenged with attention deficit, perhaps.

They still think America is fundamentally stupid. They have to speak to us in very small words and quickly or we will turn away like very little children. That bus left the station, guys! People are paying attention to the entire speech and they are not turning away!
