an event for the VA Democratic Party and Terry Mac and others turned it into a rally for Hillary. Not surprised. The Clintons have always thought they owned the Dem Party.

matters that VA Dem Party didn't get as much money as expected. I do think the free tickets given away again show that Hillary is having an enthusiasm problem. She's been having problems filling venues at multiple events.

...I don't know how you label that as an 'enthusiasm problem.' 2000's not bad turnout for a paid event; especially one where it's said (on twitter?) that she wasn't expected to appear or the original theme was changed to highlight Clinton.

I think Sanders supporters are whistling in the wind about her support nationwide, basing much of their optimism on polls in a region where Sanders is known and popular. Virginia isn't exactly a Democratic state.

With Hillary as keynote speaker. I read Biden did it 2013 with 1000 people but that was formal sitdown dinner, no general admission.
Last night was sitdown dinner for some and $30 general admission for arena seats.
