Effort launched in Maine to impeach Gov. LePage.

It is because LePage wrote a letter threatening to withhold funds to a charter school that the House Speaker, Dem Mark Eves, had just been hired by as its new director. The school has since rescinded the hiring contract to Eves out of fear they would lose some their discretionary funding controlled by the governor.

LePage is a crazed right wing lunatic who has totally gone off the deep end. I hope Eves also sues him. Eves has retained a well-known civil rights attorney. Here is the link to the story:
