Ted Cruz Reveals What He Would Do If Elected President-And Its Worse Than You Thought

http://www.burntorangereport.com/diary/20582/ted-cruz-reveals-hed-elected-president-even-worse-thought

With the midterm elections approaching, Texas senator Ted Cruz penned an editorial in USA Today this week detailing what he’d like a potential Republican-controlled Congress to prioritize in 2015. As you might expect, the list is full of Tea Party staples: repealing Obamacare, cutting taxes, and slashing funding for federal programs. What makes Cruz’s list of Congressional priorities interesting is that it essentially previews what a Cruz 2016 presidential campaign agenda might look like–and it’s not pretty.

more at link.

Cruz is only telling part of the truth. Cruz is interested in the dictatorship of a Theology with his father as second Tyrant-In-Command over the seven hills/continents.

It will be a real tragedy if they repeal the healthcare law.
Even if that doesn't happen I can see them giving each state the option to opt out of it.

I can't believe everybody and their brother is not going after this. And this has nothing at all to do with Canada. Just about what an arrogant asshole Cruz is.

This is also the agenda of a TeaPublican run Senate and House. The only thing that is left out is the war against women. This isn't some pie in the sky dream of crackpot Cruz - this is the Teapublican senatorial leadership's action plan.

5. With the Republican's hold on SCOTUS and the large unwashed, brainwashed electorate he might win.

I wouldn't put it beyond the pale.

... Whatever the pale is.

FYI:
The Pale (An Pháil in Irish) was the part of Ireland that was directly under the control of the English government in the late Middle Ages.

Hopefully, between the day Cruz is elected and the day he takes office, the border to Canada will remain open. I hear Vancouver is a lovely place to live. I might find out.

Ever since the extreme right has become so active, I've been watching for someone scary-capable of using them to become a truly destructive force. And never saw anyone who alarmed me until, finally, along came Cruz. Whether he's actually religious himself or not at all, I have him pegged as a very charismatic -- and potentially very dangerous -- leader who's well positioned to use the power of religion in an attempt to attain his ends, whatever they are.

BTW, I just watched him speak the other day to a religious group on TV and he was, very interestingly, telling them what they want to hear right in front of cameras, portraying himself as just as committed to religion in politics as they. My prior searches for religious quotes from him, or a response to the belief of others that he has been chosen by God to establish His kingdom here in the U.S., hadn't ever turned up anything worth noting.

Considering all the fuss over Rev Wright who was even related to Obama, equal time should be given to Teddy's dad. After all, he actually raised him and instilled those values and beliefs in him.

Given the threat of Cruz and his Zombie army some days all I can do is laugh and whistle past the officially consecrated graveyard.
