Would these 3 things help the Democrats in the 2014 election?

In red states where Democrats are running for the Senate and Obama is not popular, how about if the Democratic Candidate says: President Obama will be in office for 2 more years and the next Senator from this state will be in office for 6 years. In Kentucky, Grimes can point out that McConnell has been a U.S. Senator under 5 different presidents.

One other thing I would like to see is putting the Republican candidate on the spot by asking them if it is wrong for someone to vote against Obama because he is black. I know this is the reason Obama is unpopular in states such as Arkansas but the Democrats can't just come out and say it.

Finally, how about if the Democrats run news footage from election night 2010 that shows Republicans being projected the winners in their respective contests. Broadcast this footage in Democratic areas of the country such as South Florida and Cleveland.

The candidate if it ok not to vote for President Obama because he is black?

Ok. Well the candidate will say, "I don't believe that at all."

Then what?

Call them a liar?

It just doesn't seem like a winning strategy.

might think about that for a few moments. Gee the candidate I'm voting for doesn't think it's alright to vote against the Democrat because Obama is black and they might change their vote or stay home.

They aren't going to think that. They are not going to vote for a Democratic candidate. I sorta see what you are saying, but I doubt many Republicans believe that they are not voting for Obama because he is black. Not enough to make a difference anyway. Heck they would love Allen West or Ben Carson to run. How do you explain that?

They would only pay money to hear them speak.
