I would like for once to have a panel with all progressives on that show at least one week.

3. As a person who watches every week, you are completely and absolutely wrong.

He mixes it up every week. 2 lefties, 1 righty, 2 righties, 1 lefty and he has done many shows with all lefties. I actually don't recall any with all righties. the 4 panel person that comes out later is often a lefty celebrity type as well. Plus Bill himself is a lefty. You couldn't be more wrong.

4. He does and you can tell how he ends

that he has mixed feelings about having on Rs.

I normally don't watch when there is a Norquist type, but I had the time and just sort of watched it last night.

When he ends with a good group of SANE people - mostly Ds, progressives, liberals, he ends the panel with a hearty "GOOD PANEL!" of some kind.

Last night he just sort of ended it - he had the one guy, I forget his name, the economist who was smart and tough. That twit R and Norquist.

I think he prefers having sane people over Rs, but feels the need to have some R panels every few weeks to provide the forum to them legitimately as opposed to right wing programs where they just do their little circle jerk constantly.

5. Maher and the economist were OK against him and the twit

I think on some level Maher was a bit off his game and gives Norquist too much credit.

They did show graphs that showed there has been a very significant recovery, which of course he and the twit dismissed.

Norquist just punted on Bushco and said they certainly can't defend that, but that you have to compare Obama to Reagen, then had the prototype twisted historically remade version of Reagen to say how THAT is what they Rs would do as opposed to Obama having such a smaller recover.

I would have eviscerated the halfwit when he took that turn.

One question, Grover, how many times did Reagen raise taxes?

Blah, blah, blah ...

Yeah, Grover, you and I know he raised them nearly a dozen times. Now, how many times has President Obama raised taxes.?

Blah, blah, blah ...

Yeah, none. So, you are saying President Obama needs to raise taxes like Reagen did?

Blah, blah, blah ...

How did Reagen do with all that drowning of government thing, Grov?

Snarky, half witted trite about the liberal media ...

That has nothing to do with it, end of the day Reagen tripled the national debt by the time he left office and expanded the overall size of government. You just said the real issue was "entitlement reform," well, he saved and expanded social security.

Balling about liberal lies and general senseless babble ...

Fact is, by the standard republican measures, President Obama has been more of a conservative than Reagen was, a man who approved abortion rights as a governor, who cut and ran from terrorists, who is the only president to actually sign off on amnesty.

Norquist head exploding, twit going into hysterics ...

You want to talk economic recovery, cutting the size of government and balancing the budget, let's talk Bill Clinton ...

Grover balled up on the floor in the fetal position and twit storming off the stage screaming about liberalism, communism, socialism, hippies ...

There also were VERY salient points to be made about the congress Reagen dealt with vs the congress president Obama has had to deal with ...

Grover, did the leader of the democrats in the senate, in Reagen's first six months, state that the democrats primary agenda for the next four years was to make Reagen a one term president?

They did highlight the point that the the real disparity in employment at this point is the LOSS OF PUBLIC SECTOR JOBS, and Reagen again, saw an INCREASE in public employees under his watch while Obama has seen a MASSIVE loss of public sector jobs. I think it needs to be said how this is a truly cynical calculation by republicans at ALL levels, including the state level, to hurt fellow american's for political gain.

Norquist is a mindless clown who lives in their perverted little bubble, and like any republican cannot truly stand in the face of REALITY. Mahers format allows more time and freedom of discussion to get past the superficial BS this clowns have honed to get past controlled 3 minute media bits.
