She was shocked and immediately disgusted with Republicans.

In a quick way it showed her what the Republican agenda was really like....

Never underestimate the stupidity of the voter. There are far too many who will do what they have always done, vote the same way regardless of the cost.

The republican party is still the party of money and can run countless propaganda ads spelling out their false compassion and people will buy the bullshit and think it is cream on top.

The has and probably will continue to make a lot of people take notice but one thing the Republicans/Tea Baggers still have going for them is their so-called religion. I say so-called because I believe that most of the current elected officials who claim to be Christian are anything but.

After they are elected they do the exact opposite of what they claim 'their Christianity' teaches. Didn't one quack (from Tennessee?) recently claim that he voted against food stamps for the poor because it was good for those dependent on them & he quote something from the Bible.

It seems that we must do something to convince the real Christians that they are and have been lied to for generations but what and how?

... methinks we are screwn for a very long time to come, at least until things reach critical mass & Joe / Jane Sixpack's lives get to the breaking point.

but you're probably right. Assaulting reproductive rights seems to make everybody sit up and take notice, particularly when the restrictions are now bordering on lunacy. Let's hope it drives people to the polls to get rid of the teabagger fundies next year.

I didn't even believe it when I heard it the first time, 20 years ago. The Repukes have overplayed their hand this time.

There is NOTHING good about fascism on the march.

with false promises of jobs and economic improvement, when their real intentions were to take away fundamental human rights from anyone who isn't male, pale, and stale.
