1. We had a lot of fun.
2. We learned English grammar.
3. We learned literature probably for the first time.
She was old. She minced no words. We put on plays. We read books. We diagrammed sentences. No student left her class without loving what she did.
I will never forget her... a teacher's teacher.
Ora Wood, English teacher, Cadillac Jr. High, Detroit, Michigan. A class act, but also a tyrant. Let the latter not diminish the former.
