Allen West Pulls Votes For Speaker Of The House, Despite No Longer Serving In Congress

When called on to announce their selection for speaker, Reps. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) -- two of the House's most outspoken conservatives -- gave West as their choice.

When an Article 32 investigation found that West violated articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, he was relieved of command, and fined $5,000. He was allowed to retire with full benefits.

Proves he is a fraud and a traitor to his country and race.

Rep. Jim Cooper, D-Nashville

Guess it was a bit of a protest vote or something.....

“Never have America’s problems looked so big, and Congress looked so small. Since the Speaker does not have to be a member of the House, ... Colin Powell would be a tremendous Speaker of the House,” Cooper said in a prepared statement afterward.

“He has a proven ability to work across the aisle and has supported President Obama. He knows about reforming storied institutions like the military, and there is no institution in more dire need of reform than Congress. We need a hero now more than ever.”

Now there's an endorsement

Remember Louie is the one who said this:

"I wish to God that she [principal Dawn Hochsprung] had had an M-4 in her office, locked up so when she heard gunfire, she pulls it out ... and takes him out and takes his head off before he can kill those precious kids."

They must suffer censure. These guys should be up on suspension of pay for any and all "joke voting." They should be primaried hard. I protest my hard earned tax dollars paying their salaries for joke votes.
