BREAKING: Newsweek's Eichenwald story just released on FBI investigation of emails.

Excerpt:

The night of the disclosure (Comey's letter to Congress - kstewart33), Newsweek reported that the emails were from as many as three accounts—one through Yahoo, one on the domain clintonemail.com, and one from an account Abedin used in support of one of Weiner’s campaigns for office. Last week, Newsweek learned that that account was through Gmail. In other words, Abedin’s personal account provided by the State Department for non-classified emails was not involved. Abedin, who did not know Clinton used a private server for her emails, told the bureau in an April interview that she used the account on the clintonemail.com domain only for issues related to the secretary’s personal affairs, such as communicating with her friends. For work-related records, Abedin primarily used the email account provided to her by the State Department.

From the information obtained that first day by Newsweek, it was already clear that, because of the accounts involved, almost all of the documents were going to be duplicates or personal emails. In other words, from the opening moments of this inquiry, there were people in government who already knew what the outcome of this new FBI effort would be, yet it took the bureau another nine days to confirm those details.[div]

is about 30% of deplorables who will still believe the lies. Will continue to call for more investigations and hopefully indictments and impeachment.

Once that fart was out of the bag, the smell will linger forever or 8 years which ever comes last..

or personal emails and not of any consequence yet, Comey was not clear about this when he dropped what seemed to be a bombshell on the desks of eight Senate and House chairmen?

It is an incompetent or political move. Either way the deception was harmful to the election.

There is something extremely stinky and rotten in the bureau and it needs flushing out and sanitizing.

From not getting a warrant th r you already had, even though they had weeks to pursue one, to knowing in the first hours of analysis where the emails came from and whether they were dupes.

They are very good at tbis. They knew last monday.

I had to read the OP a second time - but there were no e-mails from a state.gov acct on that machine, and the others were to / from Hill's own server (most likely duplicates of things they had already seen, or at the most, non-SOS related), and the last one was a GMail acct that Weiner used for campaign purposes (and Abedin had access to).

They knew before the letter was even sent to the GOP committee members.

This goes past 'hearings' (bless Al's heart). Now we're talking grand juries, indictments, and prosecutions, IMO.

A no-win situation.
If we pursue 'justice' - then the first two years of HRC's term get obscured by all of this.
If we focus on getting stuff done - then the black hats at FBI get away with this.

Pick your poison. Neither option is palatable.

regular DOJ/FBI protocol, Pres. O said both written and unwritten. Very clear: you do not bring such information to public due to influencing elections.

His FBI salary was around $170k as director, but before that he made millions working for defense contractors. It seems he has a history of flip flopping his loyalties for whoever is willing to pay him the most.

1. From the opening moments there were people in the FBI that knew what the outcome would be.

2. Weiner synced her cell phone to her laptop in 2013 so she would have backup in case her phone got damaged that she had recovery. Indeed, I said the thing that made the most sense was that they were looking at some kind of backup file.

It was the political people at the top that wanted an outcome so Comey sided with them without properly considering the damage this would do to the institution of the FBI. Obviously, those political people with an agenda must be held accountable - every last one of them.
