Walking down my street each morning to find my Clinton yard sign has become a ritual.

Just about every morning for a couple of weeks I have had to walk down my street to find my Clinton yard sign. Most the time it is just one house down, sometimes further. I'm assuming it is normally the same person as I usually find it in the same spot.

Any ideas on how to protect it? Non-painful methods. I don't hurt members of my community. Not even with a bit of hot sauce. I actually kind of feel bad for them.

I have been planning on getting some hi-def exterior cameras. We have had a rash of robberies in my neighborhood. I hadn't planned on it for about another month but might have to do it earlier.

I also want to put a sticker on my car but am worried what will happen. If said individual will walk on my property to take my sign I wouldn't put it past them to throw it at my car. Ohh well. Going to the local Clinton office today for an additional sign and car sticker. Haven't decided if the sticker will go on my car yet.

Outside of an expensive surveillance camera system to try to catch (and deter) the culprit, not sure what you can do.

I would never mess with a sign--even for Trump--in a private yard. That is simply illegal theft/vandalism.

That said, my community has strict restrictions against posting political signs on public property and lately I've removed two Trump signs on at city-county owned walking trail. I am not worried about doing so, since the city workers have likewise spray painted over (anti-Trump) stickers/signs plastered to utility boxes along the trail.

Good luck with your issue. On private property, that is just WRONG>

I would move the sign around every day...hang it in a tree, above the garage, peeking out from behind the bushes.

My sign is a 10 foot tall Hillary "H" in sidewalk chalk on my driveway. I gotta refresh it this afternoon. Good luck with that, sign thieves!
