CNN Finally Fired Former Trump Campaign Manager When He Was Caught Doing This, This Is Stunning

CNN came under fire multiple times for hiring Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s former campaign manager. Critics and viewers rightfully questioned the integrity of what he would say. Didn’t it seem incredibly likely that there was still a conflict of interests?

A CNN staffer even said, “Everyone at CNN – and even people who used to work there – are pissed about Trump’s former campaign manager being hired on salary.” It got even worse when the Trump campaign acknowledged that he was still receiving money from them. In a statement, they said: “Corey Lewandowski, who is no longer involved with the campaign, continues to receive monthly severance payments. The campaign will continue to honor its contract with Mr. Lewandowski, which stipulates he will be paid through the end of the year. These payments are in no way compensation for services rendered.”

But, it turns out his company also received $20,000 in strategy consulting fees. So, Lewandowski finally got fired from CNN for that reason. It’s about time!

When he did not appear on CNN's 'New Day' yesterday morning there was a Mediaite report that he was pulled from the show and suspended by CNN. CNN soon denied that report and Lewandowski did, in fact, appear on-air later that afternoon. Mediaite corrected its report.
