Donald Trump: Out of Everything

With time running out before the November presidential election, Der Drumpfenführer is running out of pretty much everything in his desperate bid for the White House. Despite the growing pressure and poll results that indicate that Hillary Clinton is heading for a 350+ electoral vote landslide, Trump has failed to pivot his campaign in any material way to stem the tide of voters choosing Clinton. the things Trump is out of are many. He's:

Out of Time - Where is the GOP candidate's extensive ground game? Where is his plan to campaign in states where he desperately needs a win? Where they are is nowhere at all. He seems to be scaling back, rather than expanding his campaign, recently cancelling appearance in states like Arizona, which now appear to be toss-ups. What is he thinking?

Out of Ideas - Trump says he's going for the minority voters, but continues to insult and minimize their issues. Just saying that black voters are going to vote for you does nothing to get those votes. Celebrating a shooting death of a black mother as a boost for his campaign isn't going to work.

Out of Expertise - Having shed his original campaign leadership, The Donald™ has replaced it with right-wing extremists with loads of baggage following them. They're certainly getting media attention, but for all the wrong reasons. He has done himself no good with those choices, and the harm they cause will only increase.

Out of Support - Republican elected officials and party leaders are offering Trump limited or no support, and some are even making public statements that they'll vote for Clinton. He may be the party's nominee, but he is far from being their Golden Boy candidate. Those who should be supporting him are running for their lives.

Out of Money - Trump's fundraising is faltering still, at a time when he needs it to be thriving. In addition, where are the GOP SuperPACs and their endless attack ads. GOP money people are somewhere else, doing something else. They recognize a loser when they see one and are diverting their funding to winnable candidates. No Koch! - RC Cola is what Trump gets.

Out of Luck - In the end, the longer this campaign goes on, the worse the GOP candidate seems to do. Time, itself, is working against him, as more and more voters understand the weakness of his intellect and the paucity of his ideas. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is meeting with voters, making sensible proposals and showing herself to be presidential.

he never wanted or needed the Presidency. As one can see through his 40+ year career, he is above the law and can carry on to his next "venture" without impunity and without need for government to get him there. AND he is getting just what he DID want - "attention". Plus he is getting a new set of followers (potential consumers of his product) who will support his post-election plans. Many of us (including political analysts) have speculated that he intends to create a media entity, where he can fashion together the has-beens from his past reality shows and add the has-beens from Fox and castoffs from other RW media like Breitbart, to offer a full-fledged infotainment nightmare the likes of which were showcased in the film "Idiocracy".
