The Clinton Foundation

I think the Clinton Foundation has an image problem. It is mostly connected with large international philanthropy projects.
If the Clinton Foundation would fund more US domestic projects geared toward helping the US middle class and poor succeed it would fare 1000x better in the US public's view of it.

Just a thought......

1. If true, that would be a sad indictment of the US public

but, let's face it, the hatred of the Clinton Foundation is entirely linked to the Clintons. Other overseas aid operations get praised. If they had programs in the USA, they'd just be painted as bribes to voters or 'ACORN reborn'. The coverage is purely to attack the Clintons, who are a target for a peculiar hatred among right wingers, and now, a handy election target too.

There is absolutely nothing there to complain about unless you are looking to make political noise.

Shame on the pitiful state of most of our media that they have to tell 'stories' instead of facts.

4. Many of the "large international philanthropy projects" are done by CGI members

The Clinton Global Initiative is made up of international leaders, whether private or government. Although the CGI meets to discuss problems and solutions across the globe, the project are administered and funded by the entities that make up CGI and not by CGI or by the Clinton Foundation.

The Clinton Foundation and some of its subsidiaries DO fund projects in the United States:

Many of the issues they work on extend across borders and need to be addressed all over the world:

If you don't think improving lives all over the world will not help people in the US do better, then tell every single American funded project whether governmental or private foundation to shut down their projects!

I don't understand why there has been no concerted call for Donald Trump to shut down his foundation and ALL his businesses right fucking now. After all, he is not president yet but he has a chance ( ) of being elected, the same way that Hillary Clinton has a chance of being elected.

5. If the Clinton Foundation used the money to support deranged right wing conspiracy theorists

they'd STILL find something to criticise them on. Stuff them, it does good work, let it continue.

That's how things will start to calm down around the world.

Nurture that calm with education for all, maybe some micro loans and mentorship and stability begins to take root. Communities heal. Young men stop looking for ways to express their anger and frustration by joining in the violence.

CGI is a big part of my rather simplistic formula.

A curse on all who believe it should be shut down.

The Clinton Foundation is part of the solution. Republicans try valiantly to rebrand it as part of the problem.
