Nigel Farage who led the right-wing Brexit campaign in the UK to appear with Trump in Mississippi.

UKIP’s Farage Says He’ll Appear at Trump Rally in Mississippi

Former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage said he’ll appear on stage at a rally with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Jackson, Mississippi, on Wednesday evening. Farage has long seen parallels between his insurgent campaign to get Britain out of the European Union and the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party. After his side’s surprise win in the June 23 referendum on Brexit, Farage sees Trump delivering a similar victory in the U.S., and he said he wanted to talk about the lessons from his fight.

“With our well aimed stone, like David, we’ve hit that big Goliath and we’ve knocked him over,” Farage told the SuperTalk Mississippi radio station, adding that “the circumstances, the similarities, the parallels” with Trump are “uncanny.”

“The polls do not know what is going to happen,” Farage said. He said Trump is right to be focusing on immigration, which drove the vote for Brexit. “It was the key, it was the absolute key. Firstly it’s about numbers -- I mean our population was 55 million in 1990. It’s now 65 million, and they’re the ones we know about! Trump is the candidate with whom things will change.”

Trump supported Britain leaving the EU, even as the U.S. government was taking the other side. He’s since cited the issue as an example of how his judgment and political instincts are better than Clinton’s. “Crooked Hillary Clinton got Brexit wrong,” he tweeted June 26.

There is much similarity between the mentality of Trump supporters and those who voted for Brexit. Let's hope Trump is not as successful this November.

Secessionists like to stick together. I'll bet the US flag will be outnumbered by the Klan Diaper flags.

You can keep Nige if you want to. HORRIBLE man!

He and his pals have brought our country certainly to its worst crisis since Thatcher destroyed much of British industry in the 80s, and possibly since the end of WW2.

Don't let Trump do it to you.

Our nightmare shows that turkeys do sometimes vote for Christmas. Don't follow our example!

'Our nightmare shows that turkeys do sometimes vote for Thanksgiving.' Same sentiment - and still quite true - just a different holiday.

Don't let Trump do it to you. ... Don't follow our example!

Unfortunately we have the same 'turkeys' that you have. Let us hope we learn something from your experience.

Heck Trump supporters can't even identify Mike Pence, his own running mate. Pence made two appearances in Red States over the past two days, and even being in the presence of his entire entourage, nobody knew his name even when he introduced himself. He had to tell them that he was Trump's Vice President running mate. How embarassing.
