President Obama Talks Sasha and Malia Growing Up
The newly re-elected President Barack Obama called in to Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show on election day (Nov. 6) to talk fatherhood, marriage and politics, according to US magzine. When asked if Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, will be allowed to date if he gets reelected, he gave a fair response, “I think that any young man who has got the guts to get through Secret Service deserves a hearing!”
Seacrest also asked what the President what he and Michelle Obama were doing to give their girls a normal upbringing and he credited his wife with keeping order. “Michelle is very good about making sure that we’re creating a space for them where they can have sleepovers. They can go to the mall. They can go to the movies,” Barack said. “They’re going to homecomings at their school.”
Seacrest, also asked the former Illinois senator if he’s picked out an inauguration song to dance.
“Now that’s a tough choice, and I think I’ll have to consult with my wife. Last time out, Beyonce sang ‘At Last,’ Etta James’ classic, and that was a pretty good choice. Whatever it is its got to be a slow song so that I can put my moves on Michelle,” the President said. “Something a little romantic, you know? I haven’t seen her a lot lately. I’ve been on the road too much.”
