You know what? I'm putting DU on ignore for a while.

The first national campaign I participated in was Adlai Stevenson's when I was the child of a Democratic precinct committeeman.
I've organized protests, marched against wars, for racial equality and in support of union labor in several states. I attended Occupy events in St. Louis and DC and I canvassed for Obama in Columbus, Ohio.

But, on this site, there are just too many people who, in essence, are saying that if I don't back the runner-up in our recent primary, I am not truly a Democrat. Were I to address these folks directly, I'm sure this would get deleted as I am too upset to "keep it nice".

So, I will look in from time to time, but don't really expect things to get better as long as open opposition of our nominee is acceptable.
