Progressive groups team up to hit Trump with 6 new ads
A super PAC backing Hillary Clinton and other progressive groups have launched six digital ads in swing states focused on Donald Trump and past controversial comments he's made.
The ads — which are animated comic-book style, complete with “WTF?!” word bubbles after Trump’s comments — will be featured on Facebook, Instagram and Pandora, and the groups spent $500,000 to get them on air.
Each ad begins with a clip of Trump talking about an issue (women, abortion, immigration, climate change, minimum wage and education) and ends with a character questioning what he just said in a word bubble. Then another character says, “Not in our America!”
Planned Parenthood Votes, LCV Victory Fund, Latino Victory Fund & EMILY’s List WOMEN VOTE! have partnered with Priorities USA Action to produce the ads.
