That's what Tarmac-gate is all about.

(25,111 posts)America is tired of these witch hunts. Sounds a great deal like the Salem days without the killing (yet).

In addition, I don't see where you could claim that the email investigation has turned out to be a political witch hunt.

(53,944 posts)It will turn out to be another non-scandal geared to take down the Clintons once and for all just like Whitewater, Vince Foster's "murder", travelgate, Bengahzi, and now Tarmacgate.
It's a wonder to me that so many progressives have fallen for yet another "Clinton scandal", and are still keeping their fingers crossed that the indictment ferry from the last ginned-up scandal will appear in time to make Sanders the nominee.
Are you one of those people who think the FBI is in on the the conspiracy between the far left and the far right to take down the Clintons?

But what about the Rove/Chaney destruction of hundreds of thousands of White House emails, or Jeb Bush's deleted gubernatorial emails? If Clinton's handling of emails is so egregious, why weren't there investigations on those "scandals".
Why?
Because repugs ignored their own "scandals" but zeroed in on the handling of Clinton's emails, even though previous repug SOSs Rice and Powell didn't handle their emails on antiquated government servers either.
It's nothing new though. They've been trying to bring down the Clintons since the '90s with Whitewater, Vince Foster, travelgate and Benghazi and on and on, Obama too with Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Fast and Furious, and Benghazi as well.
What's new is how many on the left have been carrying the water for them on this one.

(325 posts)I am just playing along.....The OP lays these out as one new scandal after another.....when the first doesn't stick, we get a new one. That is what the OP is suggesting.

(1,901 posts)They do tend to distort things from the same play to get as much mileage as possible. It's like they think if they stack things up no one will notice the lack of a factual foundation of their many many lies. Sadly, this is working among those who don't do their homework and presume that the BS they've been served is the "smoke" that proves the "fire" that is alleged.
The problem with the whole Big Lie play in the propaganda machine is that repetition of lies does work with some people.

(1,901 posts)It's like all those "staunch supporters of Planned Parenthood" who, instead of focusing on the propagandists who edited their conversations out of context, attacked the doctors for giving them something at all.
As if doctors using technical and accurate terms while daring to eat salad and make jokes were somehow to blame for how people intent on creating propaganda would use their word and actions.
People "help" in the most interesting of ways, by doing the work of those they supposedly oppose.
