Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic candidate for President, marched the Pride parade in New York City today, according to multiple reports on social media.

Clinton is the first Presidential candidate from a major political party to participate in a Pride parade. Fans of the candidate expressed surprise and excitement at seeing the former Secretary of State up close and personal.

She also marched as first lady, and either when she was running for the NYS senate or after she was elected (I cannot immediately recall which right now).

She has long been a supporters and advocate for our community, despite what you may have heard from non-LGBT folks.
