3. I hope he does not for the sake of democratic party

He is not a good candidate. Period

We have had Dukakis, Gore, Kerry. We don't need more setbacks with poor candidates

He may be vice president but I am not sure he is good as a standard bearer for the party

I really hope Hillary throws the hat in the ring and some party big wigs tell Biden to move out of the way

We don't want a Bradley/Gore scenario

... after all, it can be argued that he single-handedly turned the President's campaign around with his debate performance.

Let's also not forget that the President has repeatedly expressed his appreciation for the role Mr. Biden plays in the administration. Notwithstanding that, Mr. Biden is a powerful figure in Congress. He was in the thick of things during the debt ceiling crisis in 2011.

He is not polished like many others, but his gruff honesty resonates with the common man.

And many still do not realize how much Mr. Biden has sacrificed for the party and nation. Did you know that he is probably the "poorest" man in the Capitol? He' still paying his mortgage, fyi. It was a deliberate decision on his part to turn down private offers for board seats and other private positions.

And while age by itself is not determinative, I think that would make him the oldest nominee ever.

10. Yeah, I think Beau would be an excellent candidate. But I think Joe needs to run for senate in 2016.

I understand she's planning (or says she is planning) on running again. I guess her piggy bank is getting empty.

He's just revving people up. Unless he takes a shot at something like governor in Delaware!

what ever he does in 4 years. One of my all time favorite public figues, blue collar guy who made it big - the honest way - through hard work. I'd also love to see Beau in a national race one day!
