Was Bernie fighting as hard five years ago when he and Jane's combined income was $400,000

or did it start after she had her buyout from Burlington College in 2011 and they had to start living on one salary?

It's always easier to promote something when you are not a victim of it. Give Hillary the same leeway.

sign of not living for money, like the Clintons in fact, especially as evidenced by being well positioned to participate in the greatest run-up of wealth in all of human history, but taking a pass.

These past 40 years have been a period when those focused on building wealth, even a dysfunctional buffoon like Trump, could make money just by inheriting or making and investing money to put to "work" for them early on, and avoiding losing all of it to incompetence.

One area I will definitely give him in which he was a better candidate than Hillary was a message. I still honestly don't know what Hillary's message is. I know I hear her say things I like, but when I think of Bernie Sanders there is one central theme of economic inequality that he hammers over and over again. This isn't new for him. Lets not even go there.

everywhere on DU. They post what I consider vile and untruthful things. All I did was ask a question, and that is also viewed by his supporters as an attack.

Bernie went after Hillary over releasing her wall st speeches at the same time he refused to release his tax returns for any year other than 2014. Why is that? My question pertains to that period.

And now he is not the nominee and he will not have to release he returns.

Public employees are well paid. Often much more than the public sector. And not all who have been successful in the private sector cheated.

I do not like the class warfare created by this election so I am pointing out some inconsistencies.

them the truth and they think it's hell.

Fast Forward...any recitation of a HRC position, now or then, creates a "hater" i.e. "hell for her suporters". Yea, vile and untruthful? Do tell. Please proceed.

The screen name kind of reveals the situation.

This struggle is a Class War. Nothing inconsistent about it. The Haves and the Have Nots (including those who think the former will someday magically include and protect them).

Again, I'll await "vile and untruthful" running amuck here about poor HRC and her speeches. She said she would. She didn't. EOS. Any questions?

you would need to post his yearly income for all the years he has been in office and cross reference that with the positions he has held.

My guess is that he's been remarkably consistent even as his income has varied. In fact, I think you'll find that he has taken positions through the years that are not at all what one would expect for a person in his income bracket.

Money doesn't always corrupt.

Her income only soared after 2000 when Bill got the former president speech bump they all do. At least they put much of their new found wealth into creating a foundation. Bill Gates did it and got accolades. The Clintons did it and get smeared.
