This really should be a huge deal. How can it be ok to add untested, unexamined software patches on voting machines in a crucial swing state days before an election? I can't say what's really going on or if this will impact any results, and that's kind of the issue, isn't it? Our elections should be transparent, not proprietary software.

This is more of a problem since the tabulation software is what takes the input from the voting machines and reports it to everyone.
