I have no doubt that Obama will win, but

I strolled over to freeperville and found this post:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2955184/posts

These guys are CONVINCED that Romney is going to win and are giddy with the idea that Nate Silver will look like a fool.

Is it pure delusion? I really don't get how they can look at the numbers objectively and think Romney has even a slim chance of taking the White House.

I haven't been worried for months about the outcome of this election. But it just amazes me that these people can take the complete opposite view when the numbers are clear.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised...

Their spin is that all the polls are over representing Democratic voters. They are in for a rude awakening come tomorrow.

Has to be some kind of psychology they are using, maybe to get us to think they are going to steal this. If they know they are not going to win this, they might be thinking they can get us all worried. Who knows, I don't really know. Maybe they are delusional as you said.

Never have, never will... here's a quote that goes to show they clearly do not understand statistics. If anything, democrats are being underpolled. They just cannot face facts and are in complete denial.

"LOL!

Nate Silver’s confidence depends on an accurate reading of the 9% of the voting public who have been polled.

It says nothing about the 90% who have NOT been contacted and whose voting intentions remain unknown.

That’s a big leap to take and the pollsters are not even going that far!"

And ahead in the majority of the state polling back then.

These people are idiotic. They don't have a basic understanding of how stats work at all.

The entire party is built on the premise that when confronted with facts that conflict what they want the truth to be, then the facts are wrong.
