Not sure whether it's a felony or a misdemeanor, depends on state law. Somebody who is being held against their will should call 911.

This should make headlines. Once again, Republicans demonstrate how even those who support them, are merely 'commodities', to be used, profited from and abused.

It's 44 degrees in Philly right now. Maybe they need to dress their kids better.

With that said, NO ONE, no matter what the fucking temperature, can be held at a political rally. You'd have to fucking shoot me from stopping me from leaving something like that if I wanted to leave.

The only exception is if you are trying to leave through a secured area by secret service or something.

fingers and toes even at 60 degrees if it's damp and they've been outdoors for a while. There's a noticible right-wing-like lack of sympathy (and knowledge) on this forum lately.

Yes maybe their child had the rare blood disorder Raynauds Disease. You didn't even spell it correctly.

If they did have a child with the disease why did they take them out into a 40 degree evening going to a rally where you don't know a true schedule...

Don't give me crap about right wing lack of sympathy. I have four kids and make sure we plan appropriately when going out into public.

The real point is these people were herded and refused exit. I would think the Fire and Safety services would be furious.

an autoimmune neurological condition. A high percentage of females have it to some degree. We can't live our lives indoors, but when we get cold, we have to seek shelter. Your sympathy is touching.

And yes it is rare. I have spent most of my life in Cleveland...a very cold place. I have four kids and a wife who has taught for 12 years in high school. She's also never heard of it. I researched it and multiple sites say it is rare. No offense, you are very concerned about this and don't even know how to spell it.

I'm sorry if you have this condition but the odds that the Romney "My kids are freezing" tweeter having this disease is a stretch.

people for this photo op?
At least the people should be learning what to expect from Romney.
You are there for his convenience, not the other way around.

Verify that with the Secret Service. This could really get these guys in a mess legally. Pathetic and desperate! I feel for those people who don't know that they have a legal right t leave unless there is a true safety reason for them to be detained. Just leave, people!

(when he was "bishop" in his particular area) show a breathtaking capacity for cruelty. Women who were in difficult situations and needed empathy and help reported that he would SEEM sympathetic but then turn on them quite heartlessly (mainly to preserve the "moral integrity" and power of his position).
