Look at his face, its like he's saying a prayer while giving the hug. This is a man who, whatever else they may say, really cares about human suffering. I like that. Its a power.

7. Boy, I love that picture with Gabrielle Giffords.

I was so moved by interviews I saw with her after the ordeal. It will never cease to amaze me how a person's soul, their spirit, has the power to shine right through any disability fate gives them. When I saw Mrs. Giffords will to heal and help after all the brain damage, I was more effected than anything she could have done as a highly effective brilliant woman.

The beauty of that picture isn't in the way Obama is hugging her (although that fact is nice) its in the way she is hugging him. Her soul shines through.

The happiness of the little boy. The joy on the dad's face. The seriousness on the president's face as if he understands better than everyone else how much he and his presidency mean to people... it just gets me.

24. I'd hug him if I had the opportunity, as long as there weren't any cameras around.

FOX would pick up on it - "HIPPY-HEADED TOMMY CHONG STONER-LOOKING GUY HUGGED BY OBAMA!!!!" I just wouldn't want to do that to him. Otherwise, I would LOVE to hug him. He's possibly the best president we've ever had. I can't say for sure because I've never met any of them and am highly unlikely to, even the ones that are still alive.
