2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumClinton debated Sanders before the NY primary. And she won. She's not afraid of debating in CA
A right-wing newspaper called the Washington Times claimed that Hillary Clinton is "ducking" a debate in Fox News.
But in the article neither Clinton nor anybody at all in her campaign is quoted saying anything at all. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/19/hillary-clinton-ducking-final-debate-with-bernie-s/
Unexplained is why a candidate who has participated in multiple debates (and as a result is 98% favorite to win the nomination according to Predictwise) be afraid of debating in California.
No scientific poll has shown respondents saying that Sanders won any of the debates held so far.
While you're at it, please fall out of love with the Washington Times, Fox, etc.

(98 posts)He was holding back in all the other debates and now Hillary thinks she won't be able to control him this time around.
Bernie has been nothing but appeasing the Hillary camp since day 1, but trying to stomp his movement out now with no concessions for the platform has finally made Bernie snap.

(37 posts)I've heard the "She-s-afraid-to-debate" meme for a long long time.
It's not because of some theory that Sanders was holding back and now might turn into The Hulk when it's too late.

(98 posts)such as the email server, etc. from the beginning. It's clear Bernie was holding back, because he never expected to get this far. The reason why he has, is because everyone underestimated the weakness of Hillary.

The GOP had 17 candidates and didn't have half the drama. Diva!

Not in love with them. Not in love, or even like, with Hillary, either.
Due to her positions on issues like war and fracking and the TPP and cluster bombs. Has nothing to do with any "news" outlets.

(1,182 posts)A failure to agree is a failure to agree. But maybe she'll follow Bernie's lead again and agree to a debate, if belatedly.

(45,251 posts)I haven't used those as sources, but today an message board post from KOS full of falsehoods is an OP. Yesterday, it was anonymous Sanders hit piece by screen name Betty Cracker from a blog o'matic site. I did not see a single Hillary supporter worry about unreliability or bias. So, spare us. At least people at the Times are working writers who putting their real names on their crap, which is more than I can say for the "sources" Hillary supporters have been making OPs out of.
