They're the seat of a large portion of the financial industry. And while the financial industry is helpful for industry and agriculture, it is not industry and agriculture.

The only thing they produce is money. Specifically they create money when someone agrees to borrow it.
But they don't create the interest they demand in exchange for this piece of paper. They issue an ever growing pile of debt to service that interest.

Wall street is a street in lower Manhattan that is the original home of the New York Stock Exchange. The street is the historic headquarters of the largest U.S. brokerages and investment banks. Many have since relocated to other areas of Manhattan and the United States. Wall Street was named after the wooden wall Dutch colonists built in this area in 1653 to defend themselves from the British and Native Americans.

2. The collective name for the financial and investment community, which includes stock exchanges and large banks, brokerages, securities and underwriting firms, and big businesses. Some people believe that the interests of these big firms contrast those of smaller businesses, or "Main Street."

And make all of the decisions about the lack of pay, benefits and working conditions for the PEOPLE that make the products.

Bernie is against the CEO and other 1% people who use the populace to do the work for them......don't you read or listen to his full speeches?

It's as if Bernie were some kind of genie or something. It's incredible that anyone would swallow his nonsense.

blocking progress for something to go forward. Then the people can contact the Congressmen... Senators... THE PEOPLE would become more involved. They Congressmen and Senators could get voted out of office. With the people being involved things can change. The one thing about Bernie Sanders he doesn't say "I will". He says "We will". That is the difference. We the people....

It's a ponzi scheme that cannibalizes actual companies that DO produce things to continue to pay unsustainable and ever-escalating payouts to shareholders and CEOs. It is the economic equivalent of cancer.

Have some Mitt Romney type hedge fund bankrupt their employment and sell it off for more profits and have their promised retirement benefits gobbled up by some greedy corporate fuck on wallstreet.

those speeches on Wall Street to network because Wall Street produces the products and services that we consume. I was somewhat flabbergasted. So I decided to make a post and say what they said to see what your reactions would be. Thank you because they pretty much were like mine. Except I was more shocked and somewhat speechless for a minute or two which isn't too common for me.
