From Bernie Sanders Supporters, Death Threats Over DelegatesBy ALAN RAPPEPORTMAY 16, 2016
Thrown chairs. Leaked cellphone numbers. Death threats spewed across the Internet.
No, this is not the work of Donald J. Trump supporters, some of whom have harassed critics of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. It was angry supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders who were directing their ire at the Nevada Democratic Party and its chairwoman, Roberta Lange over a state convention on Saturday that they think was emblematic of a rigged political system.
Its been vile, said Ms. Lange, who riled Sanders supporters by refusing their requests for rule changes at the event in Las Vegas. Its been threatening messages, threatening my family, threatening my life, threatening my grandchild.

(29,314 posts)its been all over DU last night and this morning... the throwing of chairs, death threats, security called, etc.
Bernie supporters are just like Trump's. Sexist, misogynistic, white, males under 30. Not even true(tm) Democrats.

(42,862 posts)Just imagine if all that angst and energy could have been directed and guided to more positive purposes ... and if Bernie's campaign had planned ahead and anticipated the various party requirements of each state. From what I can see his campaign and supporters have largely been reactive rather than proactive. (Lessons learned for next time, maybe.)
Alerter: These are my personal opinions and personal observations.
