They won't fall in line, but unless Santorum/Gingrich drop out, Romney will continue to win with 40% Drunken Irishman Mar 2012 #3
I think there is a difference between the Santorum and Gingrich voter. DCBob Mar 2012 #6
Is this going to be another case of Gingrich being on the ballot ruining Santorums chances? Mr.Turnip Mar 2012 #5
Looks to be 2 to 3%, to me muriel_volestrangler Mar 2012 #9
They changed it. Originally, Romney was leading 41-35 among white voters. Drunken Irishman Mar 2012 #10
Alright so basically Michigan results 2.0. Mr.Turnip Mar 2012 #13
It IS over! Even the Teabaggers are jumping on to Mitt side. Had Santorum just shut his fucking Liberal_Stalwart71 Mar 2012 #11
No Santorum convinced the voters he is an unelectable tool. Mr.Turnip Mar 2012 #12
Yep! You're right. But I also think Citizens United is big here. Liberal_Stalwart71 Mar 2012 #14
It's a factor of course, maybe if Santo loses OH by 1 or 2% it might have been the determining fact. Mr.Turnip Mar 2012 #15
Santo has a problem just north of Natti, and it's not Romney. Mr.Turnip Mar 2012 #16

I think many think Romney cant win anyway so why should they support someone who represents the worst of the GOP.

IMO, Romney will become Mr. Moderate after tonight. Conservs hate Obama above all which is why they will get in line.

which would probably mean that they wouldn't vote in the G.E. if it was Romney ...

I thought the Repugs were "principled" ... silly me ...

If Gingrich drops most of his people will go to Santorum.. but if Santorum drops I think his vote is about evenly split between Rmoney and Grinch.

Men (54% of the voters) are tied at 36%; the 46% who are women are 40% Romney, 37% Santorum.

Or, among whites (96% or the voters) Romney 39%, Santorum 36%.

mouth, he may have had a chance.

The Establishment has convinced voters to be angry at Santorum and painting him as a "washington insider".

As Rev. Al just said, Citizens United is winning these races and Santorum doesn't have the money to fight back!

Santorum has himself to blame for his fall MUCH more than Romneys ads.

But Ultimately Santorum was riding so high just two weeks ago and for some reason he decided that going hard on social issues and making outrageous statements about education and religion on everything would bring him victory in the primary, instead it scared even the Republicans away.

Gingrich is taking around 20% in a bunch of counties which will really hurt Santorum overall.
