Obama ground game in NC? Wow. Just wow.

Check out this e-mail I just received from OFA:

"In Chapel Hill, 2,385 supporters have already pitched in 40,179 hours for this campaign, and a whole lot of them are volunteering again over the next few days to get out the vote in their neighborhoods."

If you're on their e-mail list, add the content of the message you received!

Are we fired up in Chapel Hill? YES!

Turn NC Blue!

TO date: 321,985 MORE DEM votes than Repubs have been cast in NC

or Tennessee or S. Carolina please help us in NC this weekend with our GOTV efforts. Early voting ends Saturday so the weekend, and Mon./Tues. focus is on getting our people to the polls on the 6th. Canvassing is easy at this point as there's no persuasion attempts going on, it's just making contact and encouraging them to vote.

to pull off a win for Obama, Dalton and incredibly crucial congressional and judges down ticket, too.

Donate a tank of gas (or even a gallon of gas) to MCDP's GOTV efforts.

Carolina Blue!

NC is a strange skizoid state sometimes. It is not like the deep South, and not like VA either. But, I feel we don't step up to the plate always. I think people will vote for candidates just because they are already there and in office, so we get Jessie Helms over and over. But we also get a Senator Sam sometimes. It's like people here are wary of change, but when they've had enough.....

And NC is important. Y'know Bank of America, instrumental in our financial crisis, is here. Indeed its feud with Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) was a big factor in it. So I hope with more people looking at and to NC, it will step up to the plate this time.

I have never seen such a high level of activity at our early voting location as I have this election. It has had lines out the door since day 1 that persist until closing time. If Democrats garner the majority of early votes then I have no doubt that Obama will carry NC. Walter Dalton may squeak in on Obama's coattails....I hope, I hope, I hope.

this shows that we will have half of the 800,000 Democrats voted by the end of early voting, this is tremendous advantage, going into nov 6 ,just so i clarify, a point we have an 800,000 lead in voter registered to vote.its hard for me to believe people, claim we will lose,we are winning big.they will not beat us on nov 6 tally neither.you can donated here http://www.mecklenburgdemocrat.org/
