That's what you call a double can of whoop-ass

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth throughout repuke land tomorrow.... Can't wait.

Edited to add: The Ohio poll includes Team Obama vs. Team mitt/Portman. The beltway concensus has been that Portman is a the most likely VP pick. In this poll, Team Obama leads Team mitt/Portman, 51/37.

so that when they correct it next time the big headline will be that Romney is coming back and Obama is slipping.

Being March, means bugger all. Sure I prefer this bugger all to the inverse bugger all, but it remains bugger all nonetheless.

7. With leads like that, we may find Missouri, Montana, Arizona and Georgia in play.

Obama only defeated McCain by about 5-6 points in Virginia and Ohio in 2008.

If he's winning 12-17 point margins in these days, he wins 2012 in a walk.

but if we see Obama take VA by a healthy margin (similar or higher % than '08), we may be seeing a real realignment of the political map for several elections to come. Before '08, the last time a Democrat had taken the state was Johnson's landslide in '64!

It's still too early and I won't get too excited. I know all too well that there are many out there that eat up RW talking points.

VA is a true battleground though at this point as is NC. I'll admit, eight years ago it looked like Democrats wouldn't win any southern state for at least another generation - and here we have VA as a purple state, which actually leans kind of bluish!

Its truly amazing.

Last week when 9 of the last 10 national polls showed Obama beating Romney(some by as many as 10 points) nationally, MSNBC went with the only outlier poll (Gallup 50-45 Romney) that had Romney up. (Interestingly the same Gallup poll only 3 days later had Obama/Romney tied at 47-47) Now, with every poll showing us that Obama has size-able leads in Ohio and Virginia, we get nothing. The network even ignores their own poll.

Its a good thing the media doesn't have an agenda.
