Bernie will not be allowed to speak at the convention unless he endorses Hillary. Hillary holds all the cards. Once Bernie realizes that, things will go easier for him.

(5,737 posts)He can look in the mirror to see who caused this situation. His words he chose to use against HRC are already being used by Trump. Since Bernie has helped no Senate candidates (only three people running for House seats), he also has not earned a place at the convention. He will have no say in the platform. He will also likely lose some of the 42 superdelegates that he has.

His hands will be tied in many ways because we know he won't campaign for her regularly. If I was Sanders I would attempt to put myself in the best position to influence the party platform at the convention.
