2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAbout CNN and the MSM
I know that there is a lot of concern and some hysteria about CNN this or that, and it usually follows with the comment about CNN and the MSM but
Since there are times of the day that CNN viewership has fallen below that of my home town of Spokane, WA. can CNN even be classified as 'main stream' anymore.
When people start watching CNN again I will get concerned about what they are saying.

(38,484 posts)I thought I was one of a few who had stopped watching CNN. They draw about half of what MSNBC does. I'm startled - but I will get over it.

(104 posts)I had no idea their numbers were that pitiful, I do watch CNN on weekend, because of the dumb prison shows MSNBC has aired every weekend for the last 5 years, GAWD I hate that stuff, I'd rather watch Morning Joe even!

Honestly, CNN is dull. Dull during the day and dull at night. Soledad O'brien is about the only interesting person they have there. Brooke Baldwin is okay and likable. But the rest are horrible. John King, Wolf Blitzer. Ugg.

(1,828 posts)I remember when they were THE place to go for news. Now they're the TMZ of politics and that's sad.
They need to fire a load of "reporters" and bring in some new chief to remake it as a real news channel. Wish they could get Dan Rather or one like him. But the right swiftboated him out of our lives. So sad.
